Listen to the Wisdom of Your Heart

Your heart is one of the most amazing organs in your body. Your heart beats about 100,000 times in one day and about 35 million times in a year. During an average lifetime, the human heart will beat more than 2.5 billion times. The heart is more powerful than the brain. It is about 100,000 times stronger electrically and up to 5,000 times stronger magnetically than the brain. This is important as the physical world is made of those 2 fields; the electrical and magnetic fields of Energy. The magnetic field of the heart can feel a person from across the room. This is not to be confused with the quantum field that connects everyone and everything in the universe across time and space which makes distant healing possible. The heart is more than a physical organ, it is the seat of our higher consciousness and the catalyst for self transformation.

The blood which is constantly moving and shifting corresponds to your feelings and emotions. The emotions give movement to your inner desires, longings and beliefs. As blood travels through the body it distributes oxygen and nutrients, so love gives meaning and direction. With love and life come their opposites; fear and death. When we feel love we are expansive, while fear is contractive and withdrawing. Without love, fear becomes hate and life loses all meaning.

The heart is where we feel love for ourselves and for others. It is also where we feel our pain from loss, grief, betrayal and heartache. This is when we get into the victim heart that says, “Why is this happening to me!”. Then your heart is not clear. The clear heart observes, instead of reacts. It listens and studies before it decides. It doesn’t take anything personally and forgives everything, everytime.

However in modern day society we are taught to think with our heads. We do what we think we must, rather than what we love. We behave in a way that is insensitive to others. At some point on our evolution society people began to ignore the heart and the ego took over. When this happened we lost faith in our feelings and forgot that we are creators of our own reality.

The Secret Chamber in the Heart

The soul is believed to reside within the heart. The ancients’ talks about your Buddhic-self or Christ-self residing in the secret chamber within your heart. The mystics describe the heart as a place of refuge where we can retreat and talk to the Divine Source Energy. The secret chamber within your heart is your inner temple, inner sanctuary or private meditation room. In Hinduism this inner sanctuary is known as the eight chakra called Ananda-Kanda, translates to ‘root of bliss’.

The Secret Chamber Meditation

Begin my closing your eyes and imagining a beautiful island in your heart where golden sands are sprinkled with jewels and fragrant blossoming trees line the shores. Then under a beautiful arboretum is a temple of rubies where you will converse with your teacher in deep mediation. There you will see a door that leads to the secret chamber. Seated at the throne is your higher self who provides divine guidance who is no smaller than your thumb. Your teacher is your god-like self with all the wisdom, patience and love. It is the still small voice that gives us divine direction and understanding.

The secret chamber is never far away, so visit here often. It can warn you of danger, or help you avoid mistakes.

I am preparing a recorded meditation based on the Secret Camber. If you wish to get a copy, sign up for the e-newsletter at the top of this page.

Accessing and Opening The Heart Chakra

The chakras are powerful vortices in our body. They are like receiving and sending stations that process spiritual energy from moment to moment, nourishing body, mind and soul. They create the circuit between your physical body and your etheric body. The 4th Chakra, the heart chakra represents our ability to love, the quality of our love, our past loves and our future loves. As energy passes through our heart chakra it takes on an imprint, a unique vibration, which then affects everything we say and do. As the ancient proverb states,
“As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he”.

The heart chakra is located near the center of the breastbone or sternum. The heart chakra is associated with the heart, thymus gland, nervous system lower lung and circulatory system. The green symbolises harmony, health, abundance, creativity and nature. All green gemstones or crystals are beneficial when working with the heart such emerald, green tourmaline, malachite, aventurine, peridot and chrysoprase. These can be worn as pendants or placed upon the heart chakra in meditation or moments of stillness with the intention to open and heal the heart.

The heart chakra acts as the balance point for all the chakras. It governs our relationships and how we interact with other people. A balanced heart chakra is expressed in acceptance of self and others, personal values and ethics, following one’s unique direction in life. Indications that the heart chakra is out of balance are, challenges in relationships, dependence on someone else for your happiness and lack of discipline.

The Theta Healing Heart Song

In the Theta Healing® Advanced course, we teach the students the Heart Song exercise. This is one of the most powerful exercises in the course. This process is to release sorrow and anger from all levels through a tone from the heart. The continuous song is unique to you, created by your voice. Each organ has its own song, and as you move through the organs you release negative stuck energy. To do this you must go up into the theta state and connect to divine source energy. You then make the command to release sorrow and grief from your heart. You then connect with the 6th plane, which is the laws of the universe and work with the law of tone to create the sound. This process activates the internal heart molecule. This healing also access the collective consciousness of humanity, so you will be release it for yourself and the world.

I have seen some profound shift in my clients and students with this exercise. It can be emotional and vivid for the client as the old, unwanted sadness, grief and sorrow leaves the body. Memories may surface from other times and places, so it’s important not to get caught up in the ‘brain candy’, rather focussing on releasing and replacing it with unconditional love. It is a beautiful exercise to do when you find it too difficult to speak about your grief or sorrow.
